Really? You're Gonna Do This To Yourself Again?
*sigh* In the headlines again: Mr. Christopher Maurice Brown, who is probably now known more for being a violent "woman beater" than the R&B singer and dancer that he is.
"Oh gosh, what'd he do this time?!"
Well, yesterday, he was involved in a heated "Twitter Beef" with the above-pictured RazB, who was once known as a member of the boy band B2K. Now he gets attention for apparently being sodomized (I really don't know the details behind that, and I can certainly go without knowing).
The argument started with RazB, making advances towards Chris's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. After several tweets to her, RazB said something to the effect of "I don't know how Chris Brown could be so disrespectful to someone like Rihanna". That's when Chris lost it, responding with numerous homophobe-esque tweets, which have all since been deleted from his account.
Today, Chris Brown offered an apology via TMZ for the homophobic comments.
Here's my thing: Why, with all the success he has, and with all it took to return to the limelight, would Chris even decide to acknowledge that nonsense? Chris gets talked about on a regular basis. When one has-been decides to talk down about him (out of the many nobodies that do it everyday), Chris let his mouth go ahead of his mind and now he's created another mess. Although he has apologized and stated that he loves his homosexual fans, people won't be as forgiving of him this time around. Again, it took a lot for him to get his fan base back. Granted, Chris didn't start all of this. But he should have been the bigger person. He can't keep messing up and expect for people to flock right back to him.

ReplyDeleteSo I'm a hater because I didn't appreciate his comments? So be it. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. But thank you for your comment :)
